The buzz on British soul singer Leona Lewis is deafening. The Londoner won X Factor, the Brit version of American Idol, in 2006. Her debut disc, Spirit, has already sold 2 million copies overseas. Her first stateside single, "Bleeding Love," is a digital download smash. Spirit arrives in these parts April 8. And she's already been immortalized in plastic and paint. "Disney made a doll of me: Princess Leona," she told Rolling Stone magazine. "That was surreal." |
