Eddie's inabilty to stay sober is no longer shocking, but still a big disappointment to his fans. At least on this one Val can't blame Ed's getting hooked again on Sammy Hagar or Michael Anthony like she did in her book.

TURN OFF THE OVEN. THEY'RE DONE!

That is too bad. Had they kept the date, both Dallas shows would have occurred on band milestones. The first one was on Eddie's birthday and today is the 30th anniversary of the band's first tour date.

Cincy show has been rescheduled as well to 4/22.

This blows ass, I guess I'll have to wait again. Is it really Eddie's boozing that screwed it up for everyone

Eddie is not looking good at all lately. I hope the cancer hasn't come back.
Good luck Ed!

This band needs to GIVE IT UP!

I was mad at first because it screwed up my plans...as I'm sure it did everyone else's. It's easy to jump to conclusions as far as why it happened, EVH back on booze, etc. . But, if Eddie has a legit medical reason (like is implied by the latest news), then it is what it is and we can't really be upset about that. It does seem kind of suspicious, however, in that the last show was on Feb. 25th and they wait until the day of to officially cancel. I'm glad I didn't drive or fly in for this one. As it turns out, the reschedule date is two days before Rush plays Superpages.com center. So, now I get to see two concerts in three days. I hope my hearing can handle it. lol

I prefer bands that stick to their dates, like Rush. However, if there is a legit medical reason behind it, then there is no use laying into the band over it. We just have to wait and see the real story behind it.

I hope the cancer is not back. He looked really bad on one of the entertainment shows.

Sure am glad I caught the first one. It sure was fun and so awesome!!! I hope Eddie finds the answers and pray he gets better even if he never plays another gig as long as he lives.

I'm sure we all pray that relap of cancer or otherwise isn't an issue.
That given, this mean that the 24th will be the last date of the tour and most likely will be the final concert of one of the greatest show bands in the history of rocknroll.

For all of you who are putting eddie down and into the "stigma" of a drunk who can't stop drinking.. aloholism is a disease just like cancer. Next time you light up a cancer stick or chew tobaco, think twice, you may be the next person who needs help.
He is smart to make the move he made, look at his son, he is very proud his dad made that decision.
