Cat Power cancels Saturday's show

Cat Power's show Saturday at the Palladium Ballroom is a no-go: "She hurt her vocal chords,'' says her New York-based publicist Catherine Herrick. "I'm waiting for more details." Ms. Herrick said the show will be rescheduled, but there's no date yet. Cat Power also cancelled her show Friday in Tempe, Arizona.
