Is this a new heavyweight diva battle? I don't know if Mariah Carey's single is suffering from bad word of mouth following her album release or what, but check this out from Billboard.com today: After vacating the top spot last week to Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body," Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" returns to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with a 2-1 jump. Lewis thus becomes the first British-born artist to simultaneously top the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 since Phil Collins in 1990 and first female since Olivia Newton-John in 1974. Lewis' Spirit (Syco/J) debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200. However, Carey is likely to take the top spot next week with E=MC2 (Island Def Jam), which posted first-day sales of 154,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan's Building Chart. Stay tuned ... |

I totally believe it. I listened to the new Mariah album the other night and ... not her best work.
