Ozzfest 2008 news

Last year, info for Ozzfest 2007 was announced in early March. It's now May, and there's been nothing official regarding Ozzfest 2008. Until now ... and that news is eye-opening for North Texas.

This is what I've had confirmed by AEG Live, which is promoting this year's Ozzfest: It will be at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco. That's it. This is unofficial info that I've had corroborated by several other sources: PHP will probably be Ozzfest's only U.S. location (that's right; It's pulling a Lollapalooza). It will be a two-day event on Aug. 9-10. Ozzy will headline the Aug. 10 date, and one of the globe's most popular and controversial metal (that's a hint, folks) bands will headline on Aug. 9 (c'mon, think: what band is releasing an album in September?).

Yeah. Wow is right.
