OMG I just realized this is the same Melissa who helps lead the praise and worship at my church, Pantego Bible Church. Can I just say that this woman BLOWS us away anytime she sings? She's a sweet person as well. I'm both surprised and not to see her competing on Nashville Star.

I would really like to see Texas get behind our very own Melissa Lawson, and keep voting. I loved the video of The boys and Rick with flowers. And the sweet words Rick said to Melissa about Ive been trying to send you flowers everyday! It made me cry, as I know she misses them so much. Keep it up Melissa all your buds are rooting for you. Your friends, Mary & Rex and Aubrie

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!! I can't wait for her to cut a album. I am awe struck at the power and realistic quality her voice and personality projects into your heart. I have goose bumps every time I hear her sing. She is a truly awesome honest real down to earth person. I think the whole package comes to her naturally and she doesn't have to put on airs about her performance or how she relates to her fans. She is a definite natural super star.... I hope I am able to know as soon as she cuts a album

I have been a big believer in Melissa since the first show. I don't understand how she ends up in the bottom half and Coffee gets the votes he does. I can't stand his voice. Melissa and Gabe are the class of the contest but I am afraid to say that Gabe may make the better entertainer not nessacarally the best singer.

She was my favorite singer. I hoped she would lose. Her success on Nashville Star will destroy her. She should make it her priority to be a good mom, good wife and serve God in the church with the talent He has given her. You can't be on the road all year singing music and raise 5 kids and be a good mom and serve God at church too.
