Did you go? I want to know who rocked, what sucked, if you had a good time or what. Look for the review here. Didn't get your metal fix last night? There's always the Mayhem Festival tonight. E-mail entry: |

I went and it ROCKED (yeah, except for Buckcherry...what a disappointment).
But can the Dallas Morning News not send a reporter who actually likes rock n roll???
Matt Weitz's column didn't even come close to a good write-up about the show. No mention of Sixx: A.M. who put on a great show and whose members were in the audience meeting people, signing autographs and having pictures taken most of the night. Also no mention of Trapt who also rocked.
I'm so tired of the DMN. Last year there wasn't even a write-up on Motley Crue; this year they send someone who doesn't like rock n roll.
Motley Crue is and always has been an awesome band (even at the "height of its powers"). They know how to put on a show. Obviously fans love them because they keep coming back. Last night was my third concert and I'll be back for Cruefest next summer!
