When i read this i screamed at the top of my lungs!! and Vacquero (spell check) is a really secure gated community so drive by swooning will be harder than it looks- but don't put it past me, i know i'm going to try!! i live an hour or so away from there and if i can get a glimpse of my idols i will! :D i am excited!!! i hope its true...
Okay I have been a fan since FOREVER so I am thrilled that they are moving to my home TEXAS but On the long article it says Kevin was born here and he wasn't it was Nick Jonas that was born in Texas. Thought I would let you know (:

I could not care less about this stuff. Why on earth would you put it on the top of the web page as a major article? Who cares? Quit reporting this and maybe pop bands like this will go away and be replaced by better and more talented bands that don't need this kind of attention by major newspapers. Just a thought!

That's cool. We have lots of other celebrities calling Dallas home. Why not the Jonas brothers? It's not like they didn't live here before. Nice to hear they are coming back.

This is what is wrong with news media, WHO CARES!! Instead of reporting on who is dating who or who is pregnant or who is moving in. Do your job and give us news that affect us. Please stop this is so stupid even to make it a news item.
i think its great that nick is moving back to the city he was born in!he has alot of support here and love here from all his fans. they just might want to watch out, cause the have alott of hard core crazy fanns down here!
I think it's pretty cool that they're are going to have a house close to where they lived for a good part of their lives.
But in the article, it said that Kevin, the oldest was born in Dallas, when really it was Nick, the youngest in the band was born in Dallas.

Im glad that you posted this on your website, it is interesting news. And for the people who dont know who the jonas brothers are, they are the most popular TEEN band in the country. Google them and see what I mean. i am very happy that they are moving, not just because they will be within 10 minuets of me, but they need to get out of L.A.
I work in the area where the house was bought. Lot's of new money people i.e. Hummers, motorcycles and person watercraft type, so the type of people moving here from LA should fit in well. I bet all of their taste is in their mouth. BTW, better learn how to drive 30 MPH in the area or the Westlake/Roanoke PD will eat your lunch, I don't think they will give you a pass like the HP PD does to their residents.
They are actually moving BACK to Texas, since Kevin and, I think Nicholas were born here before they moved to New Jersey. The new house will be a big step up from where they lived when they lived here before. They have worked very hard to get where they are, they are really nice kids, with truly great parents, and they deserve all of their success!
I'd like to respond to the "who cares?" crowd, and in particular, the "why in the world are you covering trite, tweenie-bopper non-news?" crowd.
First, our arts and entertainment newsroom is filled with adults (a combination of paper and Web adults). When the Jonas Brothers so much as sneeze, a collective groan emanates from our cubicles, because we know we might have to drop everything and cover the blessed event. So trust me - we get it.
However, we also know who the Jonas Brothers are. We get that, too. Despite their Disney affiliation, they're still a pop-rock band; therefore, they count as entertainment. And not just any entertainment: Their last CD sold a million copies, stories about them get big traffic and blog posts about them generate healthy (pro and con) feedback.
The tween set might not be our typical, core audience, but their parents are, and they've been participating in Jonas Brothers discussions as well.
Then there's the local angle. We'd be remiss as an arts and entertainment news source to *not* report that the country's most popular, insanity-inducing boy band is moving in right next door to Fort Worth.
I hope that shines a little light on our Jonas Brothers M.O.

Still its cool that they're moving. If that's what they want, its great news.

Wow this is big news! i live in North texas and I think it would be so awesome if they move here!! I think a lot of people would be happy if they moved to Texas.
I live in North Texas and I think it would be fabulous if they moved here. But it's good for them because Westlake is a gated community and girls won't be able to get to their house as easily. But still this will be great! =]
Guess what. Check Westlake - they aren't moving to dallas. Westlake is Tarrant County. It's about time folks stop glorifying dallas and giving Fort Worth the credit it deserves. Try walking around downtown dallas at night and then Fort Worth's downtown and tell me which you prefer. The Jonas Brothers are moving to the 817...ROCK!

NICK WAS BORN IN DALLAS TEXAS! KEVIN WAS BORN IN TEANECK NEW JERSEY! OH MY JONAS......!!!!!! I LOVE THE JONAS BROTHERS! AHHHHH! and Joe was born in Arozona, Frakie, their little 7 year old brother was born in their Hometow, Wyckoff New Jersey! I have OJD! LOL, and for all you people who are asking why would we care? and all this other stuff, let me tell you this...
The Jonas Brothers are nice, down to earth guys who were raised right with good morals, and values. Their Parents raised them right, and they are respectful to themslefs, and others. Also, they are very Talented Nick was on Broadway when he was smaller, and got a solo record, then his brothers wrote a song with him, and that's when the record company, Colubia Records, any ways, The Jonas Brothers have worked very hard to be were they are now, they play their won intermeant, very well, and have the most amazing vioces, so, please respect them, all they have to tell you, is "sorry" really, one time this guy just walked up to them, and told them, "You suck" and they told him, "Were sorry.."
