There's never any shortage of Elvis Presley tributes shows around his death day (Aug. 16), but personally, we're more interested in Saturday's Elvis Costello tribute at Club Dada. Five bands, including the Slack, will run through the bespectacled Brit's discography, with no song repeated. The complete lineup is here.

MTV Total Request Live.JPGT.I. will be in town today from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Family Clinic at 2922-B Martin Luther King Blvd. He's here to participate in the Hip-Hop for HIV event sponsored by 97.9 The Beat. Event organizers hope to get at least 3,000 people tested over the course of a few weeks. And T.I. isn't just here to sign autographs; he's meeting with some local politicians.

Hip-Hop for HIV will also host a concert at Dallas City Hall. Mike Jones, Bun B, David Banner, Pleasure P, Young Berg, Day 26, Trap Squad Cartel and Prime Time Click are scheduled to perform on Sept. 14. You'll have to take a test at one of the sites to get a ticket to the concert, though.
