God bless Rick Wright.Pink Floyd couldn't have existed without his amazing talents. Enjoy your "Great Gig in the Sky". You will be missed.

In 1978, before the band broke up, but after it was headed that way, Wright released a solo album, "Wet Dream." It was spotty, but it showcased the sad beauty that his keyboards brought to Pink Floyd.
Here's hoping he enjoyed his years.
(By the way, if you're one of the 15 people worldwide who bought "Wet Dreams," it's selling now on amazon for $50 to $100 a copy.)

Sadly, that's one less member if Pink Floyd does indeed reunite. When I interviewed Roger Waters earlier this year, he said he thought Wright would be pro-reunion: "I would do it again in a heartbeat. I know Nick would, and I'm pretty sure Rick would. But I think Dave is largely disinterested in the idea. He's content to be on an island, which is fine. I applaud anyone who follows his gut feeling."

Sad day- I have always enjoyed Pink Floyd and the best concert I ever saw was when they played at Texas Stadium in 1994 and there was a torrential downpour thru the hole in the roof. Always hoped they would do another tour but at least got to see them once. He was very talented and instrumental in the unique sound of Pink Floyd.
