its hard to get a second mortgage on your home these days, I can't afford the tickets.

I believe Eagles fans who see this tour will walk away wanting more, not for lack of content but simply because we don't want the music to end. ENJOY!!!!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! They still got it- even sound better than ever!

I was really impressed with how good they all sounded. Joe Walsh provides the real edge to their sound, and his performances were the highlight for me, especially Funk 49.

One word about last night's concert: AMAZING. One word about the Eagles and their repertoire: TIMELESS.

The sound brought me back to 1973, and I love most of their new CD.Don Henley especially was fantastic- the voice is timeless. It was a great night!

For an 80's Hairband lover, I've come to love the Eagles for the poetry and harmony in their music, and tonight was as enjoyable a music experience as I've ever had (no flames or laser light, but I'm 38, so that's not as important any more).

An absolutely wonderful show. Everyone sounded so great, and Joe Walsh brought down the house with Life's Been Good To Me So Far...he's the edge that really gets me hooked on the Eagles.

I loved that they all played their solo stuff too.

In a world of over-produced road shows, The Eagles remind us of what true musicianship in a live performance is all about. In Dallas on Saturday night (Sept. 13), they gave the audience a surprisingly energetic three-plus hour show (in addition to a 20 minute intermission) that demonstrated the depth and breadth of their legendary talents.

In this self-proclaimed "assisted living tour" (all but Glen Frey are in their 60s), they were accompanied by a live wind-horn-and-string ensemble that added dimension to their songs without the use of pre-recorded and programmed background tracks so common in live performance today.

Vocal performances by Henley, Frey and Schmit were clear and true -- although some of the upper register notes were dropped an octave, likely as a concession to passage of time. Don Henley played more percussion this time around than in previous tours.

Joe Walsh is amazing as he seems immune to the passage of time. His attitude and vocal style are unchanged and his guitar skills are as awe-inspiring as ever. Moreover, Walsh's on-stage antics provided an appropriate comedy break throughout the evening.

There were three encores in Saturday night's performance. A second show is scheduled for tonight (Sunday, Sept. 14) in Dallas. In a world where concert ticket prices have skyrocketed, The Eagles endeavored to give fans their money's worth. Most would agree that they succeeded.

If you're on the fence about going to tonight's Eagles show, do it. Its worth the extra money. I spent a bit more than I normally would on a concert ticket, but by the sixth song, I'd forgotten about whatever prior doubt I had. They are great band, with an even more impressive catalog of material. Don and Glenn sounded great, and they were smart enough to let Joe take the reins for a considerable part of the performance. Great show.

the eagles were fantastic! especially joe walsh!!! it took me back to 1974 when i got married . my husband and i lived in southern california and the eagles were our band to listen to. rock and roll JOE!!!!!

EAGLES ROCKED DALLAS!!! Get ready for a great show, they give it all they got. Who remembers The Stoned Ponies, or The James Gang?!? We've seen the Eagles since the '70's on every tour, better every time!!!

Thanks for all the reviews. We'll be there tonight and are anticipating the Eagles' quality which has been part of our lives since the 70s.

Are they allowing cameras in? Someone told me they won't let you take pictures on the floor. What about the balconies?

The show was outstanding! 30 songs! WOW! And Joe Walsh stole the show! Play that guitar! All the lyrics are timeless and mean just as much to me today as they they did in the 70's!

I love the Eagles!

Great show! Brought back a lot of memories, could have done without the politcal slants in the videos. I go to concerts for entertainment, not political posturing. Henley cannot get away from his Linden, Texas democrat roots!

Looking past the coprorate junk, these guy's still go it ! Incrediable show.

My wife and I went to the show Saturday night. The AMEX presale was good to us for seats in Section 107. Though they were pricey and the $7 beer which added up realy quick. By the time they took the stage it was all forgotten. We had the time of our lives. My wife and I are both 35 and our first Eagles show was May 7th, 1995 in Austin, Tx and to this date they have only gotten better. One of the many highlights is when they were doing band introductions and they got around to Don Henley, we gave him one hell of a standing ovation that must have lasted a good 3-5 mins long. Joe Walsh was on fire. We stood through at least half of the show. The intermission was good because it gave us a chance to go buy more beer. I think when they postponed the second Houston show, that gave them 3 days off and they came in Saturday night full of energy. Now there were some songs they did'nt sing that they usually do. New Kid in Town, and Already Gone just to name a couple but by the end of the show there were no hard feelings.
Thanks Guys for the great time and many memories.

My wife & I went to the Sunday show & were very entertained. Yes, the ticket prices were pretty much over the top, but this is a legendary & influential band. Opportunites to see them probably won't continue to come around - so it was worth the price of admission. We found it amazing that, after all these years, their harmonies were still so tight, and the musicianship was top-notch. We saw The Police & Billy Joel at the AAC in the past year, as well, and they didn't attempt to reach the high notes in most cases, and were met with mixed results when they did. Not so for the Eagles.
And how about some love for Timothy B? Everyone is gushing about Joe, but Timothy's bass work provided a solid foundation for the rhythm section, as well as his outstanding vocal contribution.
Earlier this year I was disappointed to learn the group had "sold out" to Wal-Mart & I refused to buy the new CD, but even the new tracks were good last night. They struck a good balance between old & new, the horn & string section was a great addition, and the band members themselves executed a vitually flawless show. Bravo!

I enjoyed this concert so very much. A great blend of their old hits and their new tunes from "Long Road Out Of Eden". Loved everything about it!
They still have it!!!

The Eagles have matured from a bunch of spoiled brats into a highly professional band that understands what it means to deliver the goods to their audiences who have shelled out hard-earned money to see and hear them. They were in excellent voice, they looked and sounded like a band (no pre-programmed tracks, in other words), Joe played his tush off on guitar and they played 30 great tunes. Can't ask for much more than that! And kudos for the technicians and engineers that made the AA barn sound like the Meyerson. Well done.

This was the third time for my wife and I to see the Eagles at AAC. In 2001, we paid $110 (a piece) for tickets to the grand opening event. Our seats were way up in the nose bleed section and the sound and the view were excellent.
We went again on Saturday and paid $185 (a piece) for floor tickets and the show was just as good.
Glen Fry opened the first encore with a statement that they were going to play some songs from their first show ever in Dallas (at the Bronco Bowl). I was there, too. In fact - I still have the original handbill I designed for that show on October 6, 1971. The ticket price? Only $5 advance - $6 at the door.
So what if there old like me and the ticket prices are going up. I will always find a way to to catch a live Eagles show.

Better than perfection....flawless...timeless! We paid the $175 plus $20 "convenience charge" add-ons per ticket but after the Saturday night show, my husband and I will pay & go again if there's a next tour. $35 for a t-shirt was a bit steep so we passed on that. The AAC could have used a little more A/C...I wasn't the only one having a hot flash! We're middle-aged Eagle fans and require Stars' game-style chilled air!

This was my second Eagles concert. The first in the Bronco Bowl 35 or so years ago. Jackson Brown opened for them that night. This show was great. I should have gone back on Sunday night.

This was my first Eagles concert and I didn't want it to end!! They are still as great was they were in the 70's, still harmonize perfectly. Had already bought the new "Long Road" CD and love the songs, so I was thrilled to see them do so many of them. Of course the oldies were performed as if they had written them just yesterday. I must agree it was really hot in AAC, what was up with that! When you consider that most of the audience was post menapausal, hello we need air!!
Great, great concert, should have gone back on Sunday!!! Hope there will be another tour before they are done!!

I went to last night's concert, & it was one of the best shows I've ever seen! The Eagles still sounded great & their harmonies are just as good as they were 30 years ago. Joe Walsh is one of the best guitarists on the planet. Walk Away was one of the best songs of the night, as were Peaceful Easy Feeling, Hotel California, Take It Easy, Life's Been Good, Desperado, etc. I hope they come around again soon, but if they don't, I'll never forget last night's performance.

My husband and I are huge Eagles fans! We went to our first concert in '94 with the Hell Freezes Over tour. We even caught them in Boissier City a few years ago when they weren't in Dallas. They were absolutely fabulous Saturday night! We splurged for the floor seats and Platinum parking this time. And yes, it was hot for some reason.

The Eagles always amaze me! They seem to get better every time we see them! There did seem to be some lowering of octives such as Boys of Summer, but hey, they are getting old. I would have stood less of the new songs, I thought the audience was bored during those times. They left out several songs such as Tequila Sunrise and Wasted Time. But then the concert would have been 6 hours! I will go again and again!

Went Sunday night and it was awesome! Crowd initially seemed a little subdued, maybe because it was a Sunday night, but picked up dramatically in the second set once The Eagles picked up the pace.

I agree with many - brilliance in terms of their execution. I also hope they have one more concert in Dallas before retiring.

Does anyone have or know where to get a list
of songs & order performed at Sunday's
concert?

Does anyone have or know where to get a list of songs performed and the order at Sunday's concert? It was super!

NO ONE sounds as good as or better than the Eagles LIVE!! They aim to give their fans their money's worth and did not disappoint. My 11-year-old son loves the Eagles and attended with me. They are a testament to the timeless music among generations.

Sunday night's show was wonderful! How many mega-star bands these days would play for their fans for 3-plus hours? Flawless musicianship, great energy, excellent stage design and tech work!! Great to see their wide generational appeal, too, a testimony to the power of great songs performed flawlessly. I would rate this as highly as the Beatles Love show currently playing in Las Vegas -- another example of the power of great music showcased visually.

I hear The Eagles are going to play another show in November sometime. Keep your eyes open!!!!

The Saturday night concert was a rockin' good time. I felt that I was watching rock 'n' roll history with four true legends on stage. They are all so talented individually both vocally and on instruments that combined they are amazing. When people ask me "How was that Eagles concert?" I say "Classy." From their suits and ties to the visuals to the selection of old faves and new tunes, the whole show was a class act. Any Eagles fan who hasn't fallen in love with their Long Road Out of Eden CD is missing out. It should have won a Grammy.

I believe this is the set list for the 2008 tour. This one was from Atlanta. How Long / Too Busy Being Fabulous / I Don’t Want To Hear Anymore / Guilty Of The Crime / Hotel California / Peaceful Easy Feeling / I Can't Tell You Why / Witchy Woman / Lyin' Eyes / Boys of Summer / In the City / Long Run / No More Walks In The Woods / Waiting in the Weeds / No More Cloudy Days / Love Will Keep Us Alive / Take It To The Limit / Long Road Out of Eden / Somebody / Walk Away / One Of These Nights / Life’s Been Good / Dirty Laundry / Funk 49 / Heartache Tonight / Life in the Fast Lane / Rocky Mountain Way / All She Wants To Do Is Dance / Take It Easy / Desperado

They are coming back on Saturday, November 15, at the American Airlines Center, in Dallas, TX. Tix go on sale on Monday, September 29 at 10 am.

We saw them this past Tuesday night, in Little Rock AR. They played for 3 hrs. One of the best concerts we have attended. Thought the show was better than the "Hell Freezes Over Tour-Dallas, TX, 1994. Well worth the money, and we had the cheap seats, even though with Ticketmaster charges, they weren't all that cheap.

Thank you Michele!
I only have one of their cd's, their Complete Greatest Hits, and after hearing them live for the first time Sunday, I wanted to add to my music collection all of the other songs they
performed, including their new cd. I'm still
on a musically induced high from the
concert. Joe Walsh and Steuart Smith
sure do know what to do with a guitar.

I attended the Eagles concert in Omaha, Ne on November 8th. The best ever, it was one of the best days of my life. It was my 65th birthday present to myself. They sounded the best ever and I wished the night and the music could gone on forever. Play their DVD Melbourne Tour 1 a lot and never get tired of it, and I am looking forward to a DVD of their tour A Long Journey Out Of Eden.
