GLnewkids3.jpgWe know you have them, whether they're memories of looove or of annoyance. Even Bridgette, Shannon, David and Jason confess their feelings in a New Kids-fan tell-all to run in Friday's Guide (don't miss the 1989 pic of David in his NKOTB t-shirt!).

Why all the late '80s/early '90s nostalgia? A reunited Joey, Jordan, Donnie, Jonathan and Danny stop in Dallas on their reunion tour Sunday at American Airlines Center. Find concert details here.

Uh oh ... New Kids hangin' tough again

Did you attend any of their concerts back in the day? Who was your favorite?

I understand now why people pay megabucks for concert ticks. I was too young at the time to see NKOTB, but I cried at the time when they came bcse my mom wouldn't take me and I had every poster, tee, cassette, and any thing else I could get. JOEY was always my fav and I thought we were meant to be together because we had the same b-day and year Dec 31 so I will definitely be any where in the arena just for a chance to gaze into his eyes and sing all of their songs back to them. I love you JOEY!! HANGIN TOUGH

I remember that they sucked.

In 1980-something, I camped outside the Sears store at Town East Mall in Mesquite to buy tickets for my daughter, Kristen. With me were several other moms from our brownie troop. (We actually were part of an article that ran in the DMN or Times Herald). Because our daughters were too young to go to the concert alone, the moms went also....to a concert at Texas Stadium at the end of August. Most of what I remember is a lot of screaming and young girls passing out from the heat. I still consider that one of my deeds worthy of consideration for "Mom of the Year"!

I always proudly share the fact that NKOTB was my first concert at the age of 15. Tiffany opened up for them, and I saw them at the county fairgrounds. What a time of innocence...

Dec 10th 1989 I had front row tickets to their concert at Texas Stadium. Donnie handed me a red rose, and Jordan held my best friends hand and sang "Please don't go girl". I am 31 yrs old and I still have that silly rose and wonderful memories...Loved them!

Summer of 88, California. My friend gave me a ticket and the concert was at Great america amusement park. I can not wait until Sunday, I finally was able to buy floor seats!! I feel like i am 14 again!!!!

I was 5 when I went to my first concert. It was 1990 and The New Kids on the Block were all I ever played on my little cassette player. We lived in Lubbock at the time, but amazingly NKOTB did a concert there. I remember getting the tickets as a Christmas present, I found them in the sleeve of a New Kids' night gown. My mom and dad took me. I can remember having to use binoculars to see them. I even had a Joey poster hanging on my wall. I WAS FIVE! I remember playing dress up with my cousin and referring to myself as Mrs. McIntyre.

On Sunday, my dreams of the New Kids reuniting became a reality as I stood literally feet away from them as they sang 3 songs on the B stage at the AAC.

The boys. . .um, men, still have IT. They are still amazing performers and still put on the best concert.

I am married now and so is Joey, but for those few hours I was a kid again and Joey still made my heart pitter patter. Thanks NKOTB!
